Services
Texas law sets the maximum fees that notaries may charge for their services. Notaries are also required to post their fees for the public, and you should give a written itemized invoice for your notarial services. Here is a list of allowable fees for the most common notarial services. aking acknowledgments or proofs
Standard Notary Fees
- $ 6.00 - First signature
- $ 1.00 - Each additional signature
- $ 6.00 - Administering oath or affirmation
- $ 6.00 - Swearing a witness for a deposition
- $ .50 - Taking a deposition of a witness (for each 100 words)
- $ 6.00 - Certifying a photocopy
All fees are based on normal circumstances and mapped using Google Maps on the most fuel-efficient route from Dalrock and hwy 66 in Rowlett. I am not responsible for construction or route changes due to accidents or other unforeseen circumstances. Toll fees will be added based on the actual cost of the toll unless otherwise agreed to in writing before the appointment.
Discounted Notary Service
The Discounted Mobile Service, available between 9 AM and 6 PM, costs $25.00. This fee covers a 30-minute meeting at Starbucks Coffee on 8201 Lakeview Pkwy, Rowlett, TX 75088. Note that this price only covers the travel charge and standard Notary fees still apply.
Mobile Notary Service
The Standard Mobile Service (with operating hours from 9 AM to 6 PM) charges a fee of $35.00 for travel to meet the client at a mutually agreed location within 5 miles of the intersection of Dalrock and Hwy 66 in Rowlett, for a duration of 30 minutes. For locations beyond 5 miles, an additional mileage surcharge may apply. This fee is in addition to the standard notary fees.

- $ 5.00 - Mileage Surcharge (16-25 miles) Charged per mile (one way)
- $ 6.00 - Mileage Surcharge (26+ miles) Charged per mile (one way)
- $ 15.00 - Extended Appointment Time (each 15-minute segment)
- $ 20.00 - Late Evening Surcharge (6-9 pm)
- $ 40.00 - Late Night Surcharge (10 pm - midnight)
- $ 90.00 - Overnight Surcharge (midnight – 8 am)
- $ 20.00 - Sunday Surcharge
- $ 20.00 - Holiday Surcharge
